designs that add comfort & style

Interior design is a passion of mine, and I’m fortunate that I’m able to use my passion to help other people give their homes beautiful style and comfort. I love to add classic traditional style that compliments the style of the home’s architecture. It’s very important to me that the design feels authentic and never contrived or forced.

1950's ranch kitchen gets a custom upgrade with a French Country vibe

This kitchen was in desperate need of an update. Although it had a ton of storage, the layout was inefficient and felt cramped. The kitchen was gutted, and new custom, Amish-made cabinets were installed, new flooring, and new appliances improved the flow of the kitchen tremendously.  Now, with buttery-yellow cabinets, butcher block countertops, and a subway tile backsplash, the kitchen feels warm and inviting.

Opening up a 1950's ranch

Opening the wall between the living and dining rooms completely changed the flow of the house.  Before it was maze-like and felt chopped up. The dining room didn’t get any natural sunlight, and the living room felt cut off from the rest of the house. Now the house has flow, without sacrificing the delineation of the rooms.  Removing the wallpaper, adding fresh paint color and some new flooring makes it feel completely different, but still in keeping with the style of the house.
